USAID Emerging Health Threats Division, Innovations is a funding aid made by USAID in partnership with Project Last Mile (a VC4A initiative) and it is seeking to identify enterprises that demonstrate a proven or promising innovation to address emerging disease prevention and/or control, are poised for growth, and would benefit from Project Last Mile’s technical assistance.
To support USAID Global Health Security (GHS) objectives, this program will aim to identify and strengthen market entry and scale-up of health innovations that can strengthen prevention, detection, and/or response for infectious disease threats around the world.
VC4A was founded in 2007 with the mission to build up Africa’s start-up community. We have grown organically over the years into what is now the leading community working towards building high-growth, high-impact companies globally with the ambition to transform society.
It is imperative to proactively foster the collaborations and partnerships that will bring together the capital, knowledge, and network these entrepreneurs require to succeed – and to provide every entrepreneur with an equal access to opportunity.
