David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship Aid 2022/2023

We promote the Foundation’s vision and goals through the David Oyedepo Foundation scholarship programme. Indigenes and residents of African countries are eligible for full-ride scholarships under the scholarship program. This is a scholarship that offers youths the opportunity to develop leadership skills and apply them in organizations, communities, and their own countries.

DAVID OYEDEPO FOUNDATION – A brief overview

Founded in 1990, the David Oyedepo Foundation (DOF) is the brainchild of Dr. David Oyedepo. David Oyedepo had a strong foundation in Nigeria at the time of his early education, and he later earned a Ph.D. in Human Development from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, USA. He is also the Founder and President of David Oyedepo Ministries International, a non-profit umbrella organization that is responsible for the birth, among others, of the Living Faith Church worldwide. The David Oyedepo Foundation is a Christian non-profit organization that is committed to showing the love of Christ to the world by developing platforms that would bring about change to the economy of Africa as a continent.

Aim and Benefits of David Oyedepo Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship

Full Academic fees for a maximum of 5 years. (The length of the course is determined by the University in accordance with the stipulated period for completion of the program).

Scholarships do not cover the following;

Allowances for travel
Allowances for feeding
An allowance or medical insurance for health care
Academic fees for courses at any level that are not generated by the university.

Requirements for David Oyedepo Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

Young Africans who meet the following criteria are eligible for the David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship 2022 program:

You are a citizen or permanent resident of an African nation
At the time of application submission, they must be between the ages of 16 and 25.
Have the eligibility to obtain a Nigerian student visa
The ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Be able to demonstrate exceptional performance at the secondary school level as measured by:

(For Nigerians only) At least 20 points above the JAMB cut-off point
In secondary or high school transcripts, at least 80% of the students have recorded an average of 4.0GPA/5.0
Admission applications to Covenant University and Landmark University have already been submitted

It is important to note that applying for the scholarship does not guarantee admission into the specified universities; it is up to the applicant to apply independently to the Universities and go through the Admission Process to obtain admission to the Universities. Therefore, the scholarship is CONDITIONAL to acceptance into the university. The selection committee will not be able to review the applications of those applicants who do not meet the technical eligibility requirements above.

Date, Process, and Place of the David Oyedepo Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Interview

Applicants for the David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship Program are selected through an open competition based on merit and need. It is essential that you apply as soon as possible after the deadline since the David Oyedepo Awards selection panel will review all applications after the deadline.

In line with this review, the chosen finalists will be interviewed by the David Oyedepo Awards selection panel.

SELECTION PROCESS AND CRITERIA

The David Oyedepo Foundation scholarship is prestigious merit and need-based scholarship from a Christian platform and will be selecting its winners at due time through its online video conference platform

evidence of application to Covenant or Landmark University
Proof of citizenship
All original copies of documents uploaded during application.

Selection panels will use the following criteria to evaluate applications (not in order of importance):

A proven record of superior scholastic ability
Displayed financial need
Outstanding character
A proven record of leadership and community involvement
A commitment to influencing the home community with skills learned

A copy of your Covenant University or Landmark University application must be submitted
An official document proving that you are a citizen
During the application process, all original copies of documents should be uploaded.
