- Only applications submitted by South African citizens will be taken into consideration.
- Candidates who are entering their first year of study next year must have scored the average score of minimum 70% during the middle-year Grade 12 examinations and a minimum of 70 percent on Mathematics and 70 percent for English FAL, or 60 percent of English HL.
- Scholarships are only available to applicants who are in their second or their first year in 2021.
- Candidates currently in their first year must have at least 65% or over in the most recent examinations (mid-year and June).
- Candidates from township and rural backgrounds will be considered.
