Race to inspire essay contest
With Race Entry, you can register for races online and take advantage of our race preparation and participation support, for students of all disciplines who aim to improve their health and self-improvement through exercise. The annual Race to Inspire essay contest is held by Race Entry, and every year the winners of this contest are awarded a $500 scholarship. The reason why people run in a race may vary from person to person. We would love to hear about your inspirational story and share it with the world.

Eligibility criteria for the Race to inspire essay contest
During the fall semester of the same year that the essay is submitted, participants must be able to provide evidence that they have enrolled in an accredited university within the USA during the fall semester.

How to Apply for the Race to inspire essay contest
The aim of the essay is to provide a brief explanation of what inspired you to run a 5K, 10K, half marathon, or marathon, what challenges you faced, and what you learned from your experiences. It is recommended that you write a 1,000 to 2,000 word essay sharing your race story to the reader. Deadline for the Race to inspire essay contest
All entries must be sent before deadline on August 31 in order to be considered for the following year’s contest. Please make sure to include the subject line “Race to Inspire Scholarship” in the email. The winner of the contest will be notified on or before October 1st, so make sure you keep an eye out for it.

Scholarship Terms & conditions of the Race to inspire essay contest
- All visitors to Race Entry are entitled to the protection of their privacy.
- You are granting Race Entry all rights and ownership of the content that you submit as part of your scholarship application by using www.raceentry.com, regardless of whether or not your application is selected as a winner.
- In order to provide maximum exposure for the entries, Race Entry reserves the right to publish the work in whatever way Race Entry deems appropriate at the end of the entry period.
- Race Entry is solely responsible for selecting the winning submissions, and all decisions regarding the selection are final.
- Default policy for Race Entry is to use the same e-mail address as that used for the submission of the scholarship application to contact each scholarship winner.
- As a result, the winner(s) will be confirmed ONLY after a copy of a copy of their student tuition statement OR a letter of proof indicating that they are currently enrolled in a college or university in the United States that has been accredited by the American Association of Colleges and Universities.
- Race Entry will announce the winner(s) on its website, and the winner(s) will receive their checks by mail from Race Entry.
