To support international and Canadian students, the University of Waterloo is providing the David Johnston – Lebovic Foundation International Experience Awards in Canada.

This is a full-time program open to students from around the world who want to study an undergraduate and graduate degree programme in any Faculty at Waterloo.

Eligibility

Eligible Countries: Canadian and international students are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
Eligible Course or Subjects: The scholarships are open to study the undergraduate and graduate degree program in any subject offered by the university.
Eligibility Criteria: The applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria: Candidates with a good academic standing are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
The applicants must be full-time undergraduate and graduate students in any faculty who wish to participate in an international experience in Israel, including a minimally-paid or volunteer international co-op work placement, a volunteer placement, an academic exchange or a study term related to academic requirements.

To apply for the scholarships, candidates must be admitted to the university in the undergraduate and graduate degree program. After taking admission, candidates can access the application on their forms pages

REQUIREMENTS

Documents: Applicants must attach a personal statement referring to the application form.

Admission Requirements: For undergraduate and graduate studies, applicants must have advanced placement (AP) courses, international baccalaureate (IB) courses and international baccalaureate (IB) diplomas.
Language Requirement: All applicants must provide evidence of their English language ability to meet the minimum requirements for admission.

Application Deadline: The applications for this grant will be accepted only through July 15.

BENEFITS

Students will receive an amount worth up to $2,500 for a one-term study experience, $2,500 to $5,000 for a one-term work or volunteer experience, and up to $10,000 for a two-term work or volunteer experience.

International students can apply for the President’s Scholarship for World Leaders funded by the University of Winnipeg. The program will be given to students entering any of the University’s divisions for the first time in Undergraduate, Graduate, Collegiate, PACE or ELP.

New entrance scholarships are available for the international candidates who enrolled in a full-time graduate and undergraduate degree program at the University of Winnipeg.

The applicant must have a minimum 80% admission average or equivalent
The candidate must be an international student
The candidate must Be Entering the first year of any program
The applicant must have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities

To apply for the President’s Scholarship for World Leaders, the applicant must submit the complete application form.

The applicant must attach these supporting documents:

A personal statement in a word with a 250-500 word
Curriculum Vitae
Two references who can speak their extra- curriculum activities

Program Benefits:

The scholarship will be awarded worth up to $5000 to each international applicant.
