1. MEDFOR Student Scholarships

It will cost the partner country up to 49,000 euros (travel costs, accommodations, participation costs, and a monthly allowance per participant).
It is estimated that the programme country will spend 35,000 euros on travel expenses, participation costs, and a monthly allowance.
Eligibility Criteria:
Partner Country – from one of the Erasmus partner countries
Country or Programme host – from a country participating in the Erasmus programme
Master’s degree is offered as a degree option
There are a number of universities that are part of a consortium that is undertaking the Erasmus Mundus Master Degree Programme MEDfOR, which includes the University of Lisbon. The focus of this two-year program will be on maintaining and increasing the sustainability of Mediterranean forests and woodlands. Depending on which university you choose, your first year could be spent at the University of Lisbon,
the University of Padua or the University of Lleida .
The scholarship opportunities available at the University of Lisbon are provided by the Erasmus+ program in order to support students who wish to take up the MEDfOR program at the university. Most of the partner countries are from the European Union, while the rest of the countries are from the Programme. The list can be viewed here if you would like to see it. At least two of the consortium partners countries must be visited by scholars during their study period. It is no longer possible to apply for the MEDfOR scholarships if you are a former Erasmus+ scholar or a former recipient of another Erasmus scholarship.

In 2015, the University of Lisbon launched this scholarship program to encourage young researchers to develop their own research ideas. The goal of the grant is to support the institution’s research efforts, especially in the development of economic and scientific systems at the institution. There have been more than a hundred students who have received a scholarship from them since 2015. For a period of three years, these offers are renewable.
