1. The applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Undergraduate programmes in Chinese Language and Literature, Education, Social Sciences, Humanities, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, and Economics
Postgraduate programmes in Chinese Language and Literature, Education, Social Sciences, Humanities, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, and Economics
Short-term training programmes lasting less than six months
Programmes with a duration shorter than one academic year
Visiting Scholar/Fellowship programmes lasting less than one year
Programmes with duration shorter than one academic year
Visiting Scholar/Fellowship programs lasting less than one year
Have good health and be aged 18 or above
Not hold another scholarship awarded by the Hong Kong Government, RGC, UGC or other funding bodies.
